I was told by the Canon Vendor that I can use and install a TWAIN driver to achieve method one, and I can install the Canon ScanGear Tool to achieve method two. Ideally, I want Method 2 to work via USB as it is the most efficient and least cumbersome method.
Method 2) Scan directly from the Scanner itself using the built in GUI and automatically send a PDF file directly to a Computer's Desktop or desired folder.
